My thought is that this is very true. Taking stock of oneself, looking inwardly in the stark light of God’s righteousness and holiness is sometimes painful and uncomfortable – but it is necessary.

Oh, gotta love the 80’s music. And hate it. It’s like the relationship we experience with our computers and mobile devices. And not far behind, the blogging world. Remember when people still got together to chat and share ideas? Yeah, that was the 80’s, too.
Well, here’s my stab at it. I think I can touch on nearly every piece of culture during that decade. Gotta love youtube!

Thanks for sharing. I’d say you’d have less to be frustrated about if you let more of “you” show. Largely, people react to how they are approached. If you’re aprehensive, they will be, too. I’ll accept anything you’re willing to give, otherwise I would have stopped showing up at meeting. However, it’s too easy to see the glass half empty. I’ve got a lot to expect here if Patti and I do decide to make this our church home. We’re signed up for the church “membership” class. If you want to engage in some spirited discussion, please attend. I plan on doing more talking than listenning. Organized religion SUX!!
BYW – I echo the offer of a cigar and ribs in person. Who could THAT be anyway?!

From the 1st time I heard you preach, I knew you were different. You spoke the word like I never heard before. It became alive and relavent for me. I thought you were crazy when u told me to read my bible everyday, surround myself with His words and I will slowly become less of me and more of Him. Something made me trust you, and you have NOT let me down yet. The Journey tune “don’t stop believing” keeps ringing in my head for you. Keep doing what God tells you to do and those that follow will reap the benefits with you, those that stubbornly stay behind will suffer the concequences. The first lesson I remember you teaching me was, Gods plan, Gods timing. I was unemployed, my rental apartment just turned into a condo. I had an aniexty attack about what I would do. You preached on Gods perfect timing, we cant always get what we want, and it rarely happens when we want it to and eventually if we obey correctly, we will thank God for unanswered prayers. His plans turn out to be soooo much better than anything we could imagine. That was the 1st of many awesome lessons you got my thick head to listen to. Only God could have helped me buy a house while unemployed then find a job that fills my needs. I never would have waited on God if you hadnt spoke those words to my heart.
So my pastor, I will pray for you, that you have the courage to wait patiently thru the mess to see Gods awesome plan for you and those you guide to be fulfilled.
Thanks for making a difference for me, I trully believe I can make a difference to others now because you opened my eyes, my ears and my heart to a better way. You Rock.

Dude,
(Pastor Clif). To coin a phrase, “But if you try sometime, you’ll get what you need.” Dude you have done more than 95% of all the Pastors to genuinely attain what is in your heart. To take a cookie cutter styled Church and shape it into what we see today WITHOUT HAVING TO START ALL OVER is totally amazing. To God be the glory man. “All we need is just a little patience.” I know you have been patient, and you want the vision now, but man, your on your way. I know your wicked busy, otherwise, I would have said that same as Streetbob57, I’ll speak to you in person, but your a tough one to get time with. Please take a break, look back, and be amazed on what God has done. Thanks for maintaining communion with Gods Heart and looking forward. PS: Angela did awesome Sunday. One Shrek to another, It’s about Communication. Peace

i see your frustration and it would be so much better if we could just want something to be a certain way and it was and i can see its frustrating to want people to move with you all at once and only have a few people move when the whole group needs to move to get the job done.ill be praying for you,but i wish i could do more
